Selena Gomez Shows Off New Swimwear She Helped Design

Selena Gomez has recently showed off three swimwear designs she helped create for Krahs Swim. “The design I did, one of them, it was the high-waisted one with the belt. I’ve had a kidney transplant and I like bathing suits that kind of cover where that’s been and make me feel comfortable,” Selena explained in a promotion video for the brand.

The swimwear line is founded by Theresa Mingus, who has been Gomez’s friend for five years. Prior to the launch of the Krahs Swim, the two attended Coachella 2019 together for Gomez’s performance on stage.

Gomez has also expressed her gratitude for the swimwear designer in an Instagram post. “I met Theresa 5 years ago. We worked together and became best friends. She has taught me how to see life in a fun, carefree and uplifting way. She has shown me how to be a strong and fearless woman. She is beautiful, kind and smart. I saw how capable she was of achieving her dreams. I wanted nothing more than to see her pursue them and soar. And here you are making it happen T. I love you and I am so proud of you,” the singer captioned her picture with Mingus.

According to the Krahs Swim founder, Gomez recently helped organize a surprise party in Mingus’s honor. The two friends are very proud of the swim line they helped create together.
