While the New Kids on the Block are currently not on tour, member Joey McIntyre is taking in a show as an audience member this time.
The boy band member moved his entire family across the country from California to New York when he landed the role in Broadway’s ‘Waitress‘ in February 2019. Joey is an east coast native, having grown up in Jamaica Plains, Massachusetts.
According to the Boston Globe, over the weekend, Joey took his family including wife Barrett and 3 children to “The Lion King” in Boston at the Citizens Opera House.
After the show, he brought his children Kira, Rhys, and Griffin to meet the cast including Nia Holloway and Jared Dixon.
Joey has been sharing some of his family activities ever since the end of the Mixtape Tour this summer. His three adorable children created a lemonade stand at the beginning of September, appropriately called “Mac Shack.”
He even challenged his son Rhys to a card game. “Rhysie’s first big win at #solitaire ?” he wrote on Instagram.
