Note: The following may contain some spoilers from Emily in Paris season 2.

At the end of season 2, Emily Cooper had a big decision to make: stay in Paris and work with Sylvie, or go back to Chicago for an Illinois-based Savoir job. Since Lily Collins posted about reuniting with Ashley Park in Paris for season 3, it seems likely that her character Emily decides to stay in France. This means that Emily will have to deal with the fact that Gabriel and Camille are back together; but then there’s also Alfie to contend with. He was the one to suggest a long-term relationship with Emily, but fans don’t know where they stand right now. Dating dilemmas were also a major part of seasons 1 and 2, so it’s likely they’ll be part of season 3 too. Viewers will see Emily adjust to her job choice, as well as continue to balance her working relationships, friendships and romantic interests.

Who’s back in the cast for Emily in Paris season 3?

It’s expected that all season 2 cast members are returning for season 3, including:

  • Lily Collins as Emily Cooper
  • Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu as Sylvie
  • Ashley Park as Mindy Chen
  • Lucas Bravo as Gabriel
  • Samuel Arnold as Julien
  • Bruno Gouery as Luc
  • Camille Razat as Camille
  • William Abadie as Antoine Lambert

It’s unlikely viewers will see Kate Walsh (who played Emily’s boss Madeleine) again since the actress did a cameo appearance on Grey’s Anatomy and her character on Emily in Paris was about to give birth. One person that viewers will get to see more of is Alfie (Lucien Laviscount), who has been promoted to a series regular, according to Variety. That means Emily’s love life is going to get even more complicated! Last but not least, perhaps Pierre Cadault (Jean-Christophe Bouvet) or Benoit (Kevin Dias) could come back, but nothing’s been confirmed.

Is Emily in Paris actually filmed in Paris? Can you visit the restaurant from Emily in Paris?

Yes! Emily in Paris is filmed on location in Paris, France. The series has featured many iconic locations, such as the Palace of Versailles, Le Champo Cinema and Villefranche-sur-Mer. As for the restaurant from Emily in Paris? While Les Deux Compères is fictional, the restaurant the scenes were filmed at is very real. It’s called Terra Nera and it’s only a few minutes walk from the Panthéon at 18 Rue des Fossés Saint-Jacques, 75005 Paris, France.

While a lot of the exact clothing items are sold out due to timeliness and popular demand, there are select pieces still available. You can purchase Emily Cooper’s exact patterned tank top and pretty lilac dress (seen above) right now! Other brands that had clothing featured on the show include: Self Portrait, Zara and H&M. Dress the Population is another brand that has similar clothing items to the ones seen onscreen.

When would Emily in Paris season 3 premiere?

Since Emily in Paris began production on season 3 this summer, it’s likely they will wrap up sometime in late fall. This means the earliest fans would see season 3 premiere on Netflix is January 2023. The latest they’d probably release it would be springtime, say March or April 2023. It’s unlikely they’d push it until May or June 2023, especially since season 1 premiered in October 2020, followed by season 2 in December 2021. If they follow the same “a little over a year” timeline, then that makes January 2023 look more likely.

Be sure you’re following the show’s official Instagram account for more updates! In the meantime, you can stream seasons 1 and 2 of Emily in Paris on Netflix.
