Glitz, glamour, and girl power: Vanderpump Rules stars Ariana Madix and Stassi Schroeder know the deal after 6 years in the spotlight. Another thing these two ladies know very well? How to be camera ready, whether that’s walking along Sunset & Vine, or filming scenes for their show.
Below are the breakdowns of their routines, from their must have makeup and skincare, to what they always have in their bags. Keep reading to learn all about Ariana and Stassi’s beauty secrets!
SKINCARE ROUTINES
Stassi is a fan of Botox, and uses it to help keep her face looking fresh. She keeps her skincare routine very simple because she has psoriasis on her face, so she uses minimal product as to not irritate her skin.
She takes off her makeup with a face wipe, then applies La Mer’s moisturizing cream. That’s it! She will splash water on her face in the morning, and reapply her moisturizer, but no frills here for this girl.
Ariana is a fan of skin treatments too, opting for lasers to even out her skin’s tone and texture. She uses a ‘pro-yellow’ treatment, which essentially shrinks the broken capillaries in the skin which give the uneven appearance, and the treatment acts like a permanent concealer.
Sunscreen is Ariana’s #1 secret though: she wears it everyday! (Our suggestion: EltaMD Sunscreen) She is even launching her own skincare line soon! facelixir, which are a series of face masks, containing ingredients like tomato, wine, and avocado!
FAVORITE BEAUTY PRODUCTS
Stassi‘s go-to foundation is Sephora’s Airbrush Foundation in ‘Medium’ because it’s long wearing (perfect for filming days!). Stassi sets her foundation with Makeup Forever’s HD Powder. She loves being tanned, so bronzer is a must-have for her everyday routine. Becca’s Sunlit Bronzer is her current pick. She also uses Becca’s Highlighter in ‘Champagne Pop.’ NARS’ Duo in ‘Madrague’ for her eyeshadow, then Stassi adds Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil in ‘Whiskey’ to her waterlines to make her eyes standout. The lip combination she’s been loving is Edward Bess’ Lipliner in ‘Natural’ with Dior’s Plumping Lipgloss overtop.
Ariana loves Anastasia Beverly Hills’ DipBrow Gel in “Chocolate” because it’s the perfect color for her (other brow kits are too light, she’s said in past interviews). Her go-to eyeshadow palettes are from Lime Crime – Venus Set (1 & 2), because they make her green eyes pop. She likes to do a sort of ‘sunset smokey eye’ with it. While she’s not filming, she likes to use Bobbi Brown’s Bronze Shimmer Brick to give her skin a little bit of a glow. She even uses it as an eyeshadow too!
ON THE GO ESSENTIALS
Stassi keeps a travel sized hairbrush, her wallet, a house and car key, breath spray, her favorite lip liner (Makeup Forever Aqua Lipliner in ‘3C’) and a travel sized Makeup Forever powder to combat shine while filming VP. Another thing she always has are old room keys, which she uses while she’s traveling to do her makeup (she uses the card as a guide for a winged eyeshadow – how cool!)
Ariana keeps Laura Mercier’s Smooth Finish Powder, Elizabeth & James’ Rollerball Perfume, and Frankie Rose’s ‘Nudist’ Lip Set with her at all times.
