Raise a Glass to Love follows Jenna (Laura Osnes) whose dream is to become a Master Sommelier, or certified wine expert. She’s determined to join her idol Jennifer Huether (cameo appearance) as one of the few women to pass the difficult exam, but she’s had some struggles along the way, including an unsupportive boyfriend. Despite this, Jenna’s jumping at any chance she has to succeed and study, so when her father needs help on their vineyard, she’s more than happy to assist him. While there, she meets winemaker Marcelo (Juan Pablo Di Pace), whose natural Argentinian methods have Jenna looking at vineyards, winemaking, and her own life in a whole new way. When it’s time for her to take the exam, Marcelo’s offered a job half way across the world. Would they be able to make something work?

Laura Osnes is primarily a Broadway theater actress, but she’s recently branched out into TV roles such as Hallmark’s 2020 film One Royal Holiday. If you’re a musical theater fan, then you probably know her from lead roles in Cinderella, Bonnie & Clyde, and The Sound of Music. Juan Pablo Di Pace is best known for his role on Netflix’s Fuller House. Prior to that, he was cast in season 3 of the TNT reboot of Dallas. In 2018, he competed on Dancing with the Stars, taking fifth place with his professional partner Cheryl Burke. Renowned Master Sommelier Jennifer Huether appears as herself in the movie too.
