To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before star makes an effort to also love herself.

Lana Condor recently sat down with Elle Canada to talk about her life and what she truly values. One of the topics that came up was “being women in a world that equates our worth with our waist size.” The actor reflected on how her friends negatively view their bodies, even though she believes they’re beautiful.

Did You Know Lana Condor was a Ballerina?

Condor’s personal experience as a contemporary dancer and classically trained ballerina pressured her to think her body needed to look a certain way. This lead her to struggle with body dysmorphia and develop an eating disorder. As someone who has also been a friend to people with these hardships, Condor believes everyone deserves comfort in their body and eating habits.

The actor now has a new love for food and celebrates eating by posting her meals on social media.
