It’s a great time to be a Laguna Beach fan, as Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti reunited for a dinner date in the place where it all started – the one and only Laguna Beach.
Cavallari sparked romance rumors on Tuesday night as she posted a picture of the two of them hugging as she sat on Colletti’s lap with a caption that read, “2004 or 2020?!”
Cavallari and Colletti were high school sweethearts back in 2004, during their time on the MTV reality show Laguna Beach, as they were 2/3 of a love triangle that also included Lauren Conrad.
Rumors stirred about the relationship between Kristin Cavallari and Stephen Colletti heating back up, considering Cavallari recently announced her split from husband Jay Cutler. But sources close to the situation revealed to PEOPLE that the exes have kept in touch since filming the show and are ‘just friends’.
Cavallari and Cutler announced they filed for divorce in April, after 10 years of marriage, in a statement that read, “With great sadness, after 10 years together we have come to a loving conclusion to get a divorce.”
The statement continued, “We have nothing but love and respect for one another and are deeply grateful for the years shared, memories made, and the children we are so proud of. This is just the situation of two people growing apart. We ask everyone to respect our privacy as we navigate this difficult time within our family.”
Though they might not be back together, Laguna Beach fans still have the memories from Cavallari and Colletti’s past love story to hold on to!
