On an all-new episode of $100,000 Pyramid, it’s a battle of reality dating shows versus TV stars. According to ABC, “Bachelor Nation’s Tayshia Adams goes roses to roses with Matt James, while Wendi McLendon-Covey (ABC’s “The Goldbergs”) plays against Thomas Lennon (“Reno 911!: Defunded”).” Find out more details about some of the contestants, plus see photos below.
Tayshia Adams vs. Matt James
Tayshia Adams is an American TV personality best known for her appearances on The Bachelor, Bachelor in Paradise, and The Bachelorette. The 31 year old was married to college boyfriend Josh Bourelle from 2016-2017. She had found love with fellow Bachelorette contestant Zac Clark, as the two were engaged. But, their relationship came to an end in 2021. According to her Instagram bio, she’s usually “somewhere running, dancing, or sipping a marg,” when she’s not busy being a social media influencer.
Matt James is an American businessman, former NCAA football player, and TV personality best known for being the first male African-American lead for The Bachelor season 25. He’s been dating Rachael Kirkconnell since 2020; the two met during filming of season 25. Though the couple did break up briefly in February 2021, they worked through their issues and by April, were back together. Since then, they’ve been stronger than ever, traveling and enjoying each other’s company.

Wendi McLendon-Covey vs. Thomas Lennon
Wendi McLendon-Covey is an American actress known for her role on ABC’s The Goldbergs. Fans of ABC programming may also remember Wendi’s stint on Celebrity Family Feud last year, where she faced off against Patrick Warburton. Aside from her work, Wendi’s been married to husband, film producer Greg Covey since 1996. Currently, she co-hosts the Generation Ripe podcast.
Thomas Lennon is an actor best known for his work on Reno 911! and most recently, Reno 911! Defunded, which premiered on Roku in February 2022. The series also featured 100,000 Pyramid challenger Wendi McLendon-Covey. Thomas is also a 2x To Tell the Truth contestant, which is another ABC game show. He’s been married to wife Jenny Robertson since 2002, and they have 1 child together.
Joining Wendi and Thomas are JJ Tyson and Kristy Williams.
