It’s actors vs. singers on this week’s all-new $100,000 Pyramid. Actress/comedian Ana Gasteyer takes on actor Luke Kirby; later, singer Clay Aiken and actress/singer Ashanti face off. As per usual, each celebrity pair will get to play alongside a couple other people during the game. The objective remains the same: each is trying to get to that grand cash prize. Ana Gasteyer vs. Luke Kirby
Ana Gasteyer is a returning $100,000 Pyramid contestant. She appeared earlier on in the season with Rachel Dratch. Ana’s best known for her work on Saturday Night Live, and for appearing on shows like Suburgatory, Lady Dynamite, and People of Earth. She’s married to Charlie McKittrick and they have two kids together.
Luke Kirby is an actor who fans may have most recently seen in the HBO reboot of Gossip Girl as David Calloway. He won an Emmy for his role on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and has also starred on other shows like Rectify and The Deuce. In film, he starred in the 2021 movie No Man of God, and his upcoming project is an untitled Katie Holmes film.
Joining Luke and Ana this week are Lavinia Wright and Scott Johnson. The show’s official Instagram posted a photo of Ana and Luke with their “game faces” on. Check it out below.
Ashanti vs. Clay Aiken
Ashanti is a talented singer and actress. She’s known for her 2000s hits like “Foolish,” as well as for movies like John Tucker Must Die. Over the course of her career, she’s sold 27 million records worldwide, and won numerous awards, including Billboard Music awards and Grammys. More recently, Ashanti guested as herself on two episodes in season 3 of the CW’s Dynasty reboot. She was in a long-term relationship with rapper Nelly from 2003-2014.
Clay Aiken was the runner-up on season 2 of American Idol, and released subsequent album Measure of a Man to great commercial success. The single “This Is The Night/Bridge Over Troubled Water” won Billboard’s Best-Selling Single of 2003. Later on, he signed with Decca Records and released a couple more albums. He also did some TV guest spots, appearing as himself alongside his 100K Pyramid co-star Ashanti on an episode of Law & Order: SVU.
