Hallmark Channel is rolling out all-new movies as part of their “Christmas in July” event. One new title is Campfire Christmas starring Corbin Bleu and Tori Anderson. It has a great cast, intriguing plot, and that comforting feeling that has become a Hallmark signature. What is Campfire Christmas about?
Campfire Christmas follows Peyton (Tori Anderson) whose parents decide it’s time to sell their summer camp so they can retire. But, they decide to throw one last “Christmas in July” celebration, as it was a popular tradition at the camp. Peyton’s excited to see her friends Beckett (Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman), Janice (Caitlyn Stryker), Dave (Matt Hamilton) and Chris (Alec Santos). However, that also means seeing Thomas (Corbin Bleu), her former boyfriend who broke her heart when he ended their romance after high school.
Beckett’s a Broadway star, Janice and Dave are camp sweethearts, and Chris is as cool as ever. But seeing Thomas really threw Peyton for a loop. As she and her friends reconnect and reminisce while doing activities like crafts and Christmas pageant rehearsals, they all begin to take stock of their lives. This leads to them helping each other gain insight into the next steps to start their own happily ever afters. Will Peyton and Thomas get theirs too?

Who’s in the cast?
Corbin Bleu is perhaps best known for starring as Chad Danforth in the High School Musical franchise. In 2021, he reunited with former HSM co-star Monique Coleman for Lifetime’s A Christmas Dance Reunion. Recently, he appeared in FOX’s The Real Dirty Dancing, where he and competition partner Cat Cora came in first place. Up next, he’ll reprise his HSM role as a guest star on the Disney+ series High School Musical: The Musical: The Series. Corbin is married to actress Sasha Clements.
Tori Anderson is a Canadian actress known for the CW’s No Tomorrow, NBC’s Blindspot, and most recently, CBS’ NCIS: Hawaii. Other credits include Killjoys, The L.A. Complex, The Other Kingdom, Open Heart and Reign. Hallmark fans will know Tori from Love Under the Olive Tree and Return to Christmas Creek. Currently, she lives in Toronto, but often visits Vancouver and Los Angeles.
Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman is known for his role on Lifetime’s UnREAL, and currently stars in the Disney+ series Doogie Kameāloha, M.D. Caitlyn Stryker is known for starring in quite a few Hallmark movies, including Warming Up to You, Sealed with a Kiss: Wedding March 6, and A Valentine’s Match.
Matt Hamilton won the 2019 Leo Award for “Best Male Performance” in The Actress Diaries and was the “Scriptoid Television Top 3 winner” for his screenwriting. Alec Santos is a trilingual actor who’s graced the screen in shows like Virgin River and Firefly Lane for Netflix.
