Hallmark is breezing past Halloween and right into the holiday season with their annual Christmas lineup. One of their new movies, One Royal Holiday is actually slated to premiere on October 31! Get more details about the film, including who’s who in the cast, what it’s about, and even see a preview, below.

This heartwarming holiday movie stars Laura Osnes as Anna, the woman who offers up her home to a mother and son who are stranded in the blizzard. Aaron Tveit portrays James, the son who’s welcomed into Anna’s town.

Soon, Anna discovers that James is actually Prince James of Galwick, and his mother is Gabriella (Victoria Clark), also a part of the Royal Family. She still tries to show the Prince how they do things in her hometown, in hopes to bring him a little holiday cheer.

Rounding out the cast is Krystal Joy Brown as Sara, Tom McGowan as Ed, and Bradley Rose as Christopher. The film was shot on the East Coast back in June, one of the first during the pandemic at that time.

This cast is especially interesting as it contains three Tony Award nominees — Laura Osnes, Aaron Tveit, and Tom McGowan — and one Tony Award winner — Victoria Clark. Clark won for her performance in The Light in the Piazza; Osnes has been nominated two times for Bonnie & Clyde and Cinderella. Tveit’s the most recent nominee for his work in Moulin Rouge.

Other credits to Victoria Clark’s name are: Follies, Gigi, and ironically, the same Cinderella theater production that Laura Osnes starred in. Speaking of Osnes, her other works include: Bandstand, an episode of Dynasty, and numerous other Broadway (and off-Broadway) plays. Aaron Tveit is known for his theater work too, but his guest roles on shows like Gossip Girl and The Code are just as notable.
