An all-new episode of ABC’s The Hustler airs Thursday, August 12. Titled “Teamwork, Huzzah,” the episode features five new competitors sitting down with host Craig Ferguson to play the game. As always, one of the players’ hidden identity is that of “the hustler,” and everyone else is clamoring to find out who it is. But, if they want to stay in the game, their identity has to be kept a secret. There are interesting clues, intriguing questions, and quite a few funny moments in this week’s new episode. Details on The Hustler: “Teamwork, Huzzah!”
According to ABC, this week’s episode has “Harry Potter and actor and comedian Jim Carrey [as] clues to discovering the identity of The Hustler.” Much like the title suggests, the five new team members will collaborate on these series of questions. It will certainly take more than just one brainiac to figure out the answers!
With the clues being relevant to contemporary literature and people, perhaps this game will involve more famous names or notable works. If any of the five contestants are pop culture fanatics or on top of their literary game, then they would definitely have an advantage.
Speaking of which, the five new players on the episode are: Sarah Roa, James Nassour, Kyle Gattison, Christine Diaz, and Jared Garrett. Craig Ferguson gave a quick interview for the show’s Instagram page, sharing his favorite part of hosting The Hustler. Hear what he had to say in the clip below:
As far as who is “the hustler?” That answer remains to be seen! Even the show’s Twitter got in on the fun, tweeting: “Anyone else already trying to figure out who #TheHustler is from this photo?” Craig looks like he’s getting to the bottom of it!
