Meet the To Tell the Truth Panel: Lil Rel Howery, D.L. Hughley and Joel McHale

As mentioned above, Lil Rel Howery, D.L. Hughley and Joel McHale have previously appeared on To Tell the Truth, and will appear together in this new episode. Lil Rel Howery appeared last season, as did Joel McHale. D.L. Hughley’s first episode aired back in 2019.

After growing up in Chicago, Lil Rel Howery began performing stand-up comedy. In 2007, he made his debut on Last Comic Standing, and his career took off from there. Over the years, he’s also branched out into TV & film. Some of his notables include: The Carmichael Show, Get Out, and Rel, the last he created and co-produced. He was married to Verina Robinson from 2008-2017, and has 3 children.

Like his To Tell the Truth co-star, D.L. Hughley also has 3 kids with his wife, LaDonna. D.L’s best known for being the host of BET’s ComicView, and for playing the lead in the ABC/UPN series The Hughleys. He was also a correspondent for NBC’s The Jay Leno Show, and hosted CNN’s D.L. Hughley Breaks the News. His estimated net worth is $10 million.

He recently added author to his already impressive resume. D.L. retweeted the tweet below, where he appeared on a show to discuss his new book, How to Survive America.

Joel McHale hosted the hit E! series The Soup from 2004-2015, and subsequently starred in NBC’s Community from 2009-2015. Currently, he hosts the game show reboot of Card Sharks, and can be seen on the CW’s Stargirl as Sylvester Pemberton/Starman. He’s been married to Sarah Williams since 1996, and they have 2 kids together.

Recently, Joel posted on Instagram to share news of his next project. He will star with Victoria Justice in the comedy California King. He wrote: “Yay! Movies!” and his new co-star Victoria even commented on it. Check it out below:

What questions will be asked?

According to ABC, “This panel is taking us to new heights, featuring an original member of the Funky Bunch, a skyscraper window cleaner, a member of the Whistlers Hall of Fame, a wheelchair motocross champion and a pig clothing designer.”

The questions will be phrased like: “Who is the real pig clothing designer?”, “Who is the wheelchair Moto-X champ?” and “Who was a member of The Funky Bunch?” As always, Anthony Anderson is hosting, and his mother, Doris, will make an appearance in the episode.

As you can see in the photos below, Lil Rel Howery, D.L. Hughley and Joel McHale are having a blast trying to figure out who’s the real deal!
