Chasing Waterfalls: Plot + Cast

Chasing Waterfalls follows Amy Atwater (Cindy Busby), a photographer who’s just received the assignment of a lifetime. She’s supposed to find one of North America’s ethereal waterfalls for a story in Explorer Worldwide. As Amy tries to find the waterfall, she finds herself falling for her tour guide, Mark North (Christopher Russell). She also loves spending time with his daughter, Kyra (Cassidy Nugent). But, as her work draws to a close, will she be able to keep sacred one of the area’s – and Mark’s – most cherished secrets?

Cindy Busby is best known for her role of Ashley Stanton on the hit series Heartland. Other titles to her name include the film Picture This, plus guest spots on shows like Supernatural and The LA Complex. She recurred on Hallmark’s Cedar Cove, and has been in a number of movies for the network, such as A Godwink Christmas: Meant for Love. Recently, Cindy’s been seen in Hallmark’s Follow Me to Daisy Hills, and her next film for them is Romance on the Menu.

Christopher Russell has many roles to his name, including series regular spots on Lifetime’s UnREAL and BBC’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency.
