Katharine’s husband is famous in his own right. She’s been married to singer and music producer David Foster since June 2019. He proposed to her the year prior, and they were married in London. Katharine posted an anniversary anecdote on her Instagram last summer, which you can see below:
Katharine McPhee Gives Birth to Baby Boy
The couple’s pregnancy was announced last fall, according to E! News. Katharine gave birth to a healthy baby boy on February 24. Her last Instagram post was on February 21, which showed off her baby bump. She captioned it exclusively with emojis, including the bottle one.

During her time on American Idol, it was revealed that Katharine – then 22 – was dating a then 41 year old actor Nick Cokas. They were engaged in 2007; they tied the knot in 2008. The two separated in 2013. But, E! News reported their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2016.
While Katharine sorted through her personal life, her career really took off. She held the lead of NBC’s Smash, and was a part of the main cast for CBS’ Scorpion. During this time, Katharine continued working on and releasing albums. She also made her Broadway debut in Waitress.
Between her previous successes, and her new starring role alongside Eddie Cibrian in Country Comfort, it’s no wonder Katharine’s net worth is impressive. She’s worth approximately $14 million. While it’s nowhere near her husband’s net worth of about $150 million, it’s still a nice sum.
