Von Miller, Ali Wentworth and Laverne Cox Compete on ‘Celebrity Wheel of Fortune’

Celebrity Wheel of Fortune is back with another all-new episode. On January 30, three celebrities will be spinning the wheel for a chance to win prize money for the charity of their choice. Playing are Von Miller, Ali Wentworth and Laverne Cox, so keep reading below to learn more about them. Plus, you can see some photos from the episode too.


Meet Von Miller, Ali Wentworth and Laverne Cox

Von Miller is an NFL linebacker for the LA Rams. He’s 32 years old and is from Dallas, Texas, even attending Texas A&M University. Prior to playing with the Los Angeles Rams, Von played for the Denver Broncos from 2011-2020. It was in 2021 that he was traded to the Rams; he told NBC that he’d like to finish out his career playing for them. He has a brother named Vince; in 2021, Von welcomed a son named Valor with ex Megan Denise, according to Denver’s CBS4 News. Another ABC show you may have seen him on is Dancing with the Stars. Von was on season 22, partnered up with Witney Carson.

Ali Wentworth is an actress, comedian, and producer. She is 57 years old and was born in Washington DC. Her most notable work is the comedy series In Living Color, where she was known for her famous celebrity impressions. Other credits of hers include: Jerry Maguire, It’s Complicated, and Nightcap. She’s been married to George Stephanopoulos, a TV host and political commentator, since 2001. They have two children together. Ali’s also good friends with Law & Order: SVU actress Mariska Hargitay – the duo recently appeared on The Drew Barrymore Show together. Now Ali’s been focusing on her podcast Go Ask Ali, which features guests like Amy Schumer.


Laverne Cox is known for portraying Sophia Burset in the hit Netflix series Orange is the New Black, for which she was the first openly transgender actress to be nominated for an Emmy. She’s appeared on the covers of TIME, Cosmopolitan, and Essence magazines, not to mention added executive producer to her resume with documentaries. Laverne is an LGBTQ advocate, and was honored by GLAAD in 2014 with the Stephen F. Kolzak award. Recently, Laverne added YouTuber to her resume as well, uploading short videos to her channel.

Von Miller is playing for Von’s Vision Foundation, Ali Wentworth is playing for Good+Foundation, and Laverne Cox is playing for Trans Justice Funding Project, an Initiative of the Tides Center.
