Olivia Jade has something else to celebrate besides making it through another week on Dancing with the Stars. The DWTS contestant also shared her feelings about her mom Lori Loughlin‘s new television role this week. See what she had to say, and what her mom’s role will be, below.

Olivia Jade Reacts to Lori Loughlin’s New TV Role

When asked by Access Hollywood how she felt about her mother Lori Loughlin returning to acting after 2 and a half years, Olivia Jade responded: “It’s all good to me.” She was a little hesitant at first, not wanting to say the wrong thing whenever she’s been asked questions in regards to her family. She told Access, “At the end of the day, it’s my mom. I love her, I’m proud of her. I’m happy she’s back to work.”

Olivia reiterated that she’s happy to have this opportunity with DWTS to be working as well. Feeling the Vibe reported last month about her season 30 casting, and she’s been partnered up with Val Chmerkovskiy. The pair recently did a tango, and crushed it with the judges’ scores. Val’s been super supportive of Olivia as well, writing in an Instagram: “Olivia, You were the perfect student and the perfect partner this week, and everyday before that. I’m proud of you and I’m inspired to get back into the studio and continue to work.”

Olivia’s been excited to show everyone a different side of herself on Dancing with the Stars, and has been grateful to have her sister, Bella, in her corner too. Bella was even in the audience for Olivia’s tango; you can watch their full dance below.

What is Lori Loughlin’s new television role?

Lori Loughlin is actually reprising one of her longstanding television characters, Abigail Stanton from Hallmark’s When Calls the Heart series. Hallmark Movies Now, the network’s streaming service broadcasted season 1, and season 2 is expected to air on GAC Family. PR Newswire reports that Lori will appear in the two-part premiere When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas, which debuts on December 18.

Season 2 of When Hope Calls kicks off with a Christmas festival, and the town of Brookfield is eager to take the top spot in being America’s #1 Country Christmas Town. “In the midst of the fuss, a stagecoach appears, and out steps Abigail Stanton and her son, Cody who have brought a troubled boy to Lillian’s orphanage,” the official description reads. In part 2 of the premiere, “Abigail has a profound conversation with a dear friend from the past.”

Lori’s former co-star Daniel Lissing will also be returning to the When Calls the Heart world for season 2 of the spinoff. His character of Jack Thornton in the original Hallmark show was killed in season 5, leaving Erin Krakow’s character a widow. It’s unclear how he’ll be appearing in When Hope Calls, but if the above description alludes to anything, it’s quite possible he could be the “dear friend from the past” that Loughlin’s Abigail converses with.

Since exiting When Calls the Heart, Daniel’s appeared on episodes of SWAT and The Rookie. He told Entertainment Tonight that he’s excited about season 2 of When Hope Calls, as well as “working with [his] friend Lori again.” His former costar Erin actually posted a celebratory Instagram about Lori’s casting with a double heart emoji.

Lori can be see in When Hope Calls: A Country Christmas on December 18. New episodes of Dancing with the Stars air on Mondays at 8 PM on ABC. You can vote for Olivia and Val, aka: Team “Valivia” by texting “Olivia” to 21523.
