The news just broke that Dancing with the Stars pro, Gleb Savchenko has split from his wife of 14 years, Elena Samodanova. He is currently competing in season 29 of the ABC dancing show alongside his partner Chrishell Stause. But who is his ex-wife?

Just like her husband Gleb, Elena is a professional dancer. She is a choreographer on So You Think You Can Dance on FOX. Elena was also a judge on the Russian version of Dancing with the Stars.

Through 14 years of marriage, the couple had two beautiful daughters together. Their names are Zlata and Olivia. Both girls have their own Instagram profiles but are often seen on their parents pages as well. In mid-September, Elena posted a photo of the family with the caption, “Life is beautiful. Elena Samodanova was born on October 3, 1984 which means she turned 36 years old this year. Her birth sign is Libra. She posted a photo of herself holding a birthday cake with popup dancers on it. The caption reads, “Thank you all so much for your lovely birthday messages.

Elena comes from a musical family. Her mother, Irina and her father were both dancers. Now we know where she gets her talent!
