The Celebrity Dating Game is premiering this month on ABC. On June 14, fans will finally get to see former Bachelor contestant and Bachelorette star Hannah Brown find a potential match. Of course, Hannah’s not the only celebrity competing on the new reality game show. Comedian Nicole Byer tests her luck in the season premiere too. With Zooey Deschanel and Michael Bolton hosting, it’s no wonder everyone’s excited about the first episode. Get even more details about the show and the suitors below.
Like we mentioned above, Hannah Brown and Nicole Byer are the first two celebrity contestants on The Celebrity Dating Game. While you probably know Hannah from her time on reality TV’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, she also won season 28 of ABC’s Dancing with the Stars. Nicole Byer is a comedian known for participating in MTV’s Girl Code, and is currently co-hosting Wipeout alongside John Cena.
According to ABC, Hannah “asks potential suitors to name a fun and romantic activity they can do at home” while Nicole “tests suitors by asking them, ‘If I was a frozen pizza, how would you get me hot?'” Michael Bolton performs renditions of “I Found Someone” and “Wind Beneath My Wings” to help give clues as to who the celebrity is, and/or who the suitors are.
Speaking of the suitors, we’ve got the scoop on that too. The trio vying for Hannah Brown’s heart are Evan Faunce, Vishal Kal, and Jake Magness. The guys for Nicole Byer are Stephon Latham, Walter Ford, and Nate Shanklin. Check out a couple photos of all the contestants below.
Stephon Latham, one of the Nicole Byer’s possible daters, posted a few behind the scenes photos from his stint on the new ABC revival. He said, “Soooo I’m going to be on the reboot of @datinggameabc, premiering June 14 on @abcnetwork! Hosted by @zooeydeschanel and @michaelboltonpics ! Are y’all going to tune in to see if I won?!”
Stephon continued, “Dope experience! S/O to the entire crew and the good brothers I had the opportunity to meet!”
Between the slew of celebrities, the great talents of Michael and Zooey, it’s sure to be an exciting premiere. The official Twitter account for The Celebrity Dating Game posted to remind fans about tuning in this summer. They wrote: “Sit back, relax, and let the matchmaking begin!”
