Celebrity Family Feud is coming back for the summer 2022 lineup on ABC. The hit game show has two celebrity-led teams face off against each other, competing for a prize for the charity of their choice. We have the premiere date – July 10 – but, we also have details on who is playing in the upcoming season. Keep reading below to find out which celebrities are matched up.
When is Celebrity Family Feud premiering?
Celebrity Family Feud is premiering on Sunday July 10 at 8 PM. The program is in its eighth season, and will continue to be hosted by the award-winning Steve Harvey. According to the show’s official Instagram page, you will also be able to stream the premiere (and future episodes) on Hulu the next day.
“Survey says that #CelebrityFamilyFeud is coming back for Season 8! 🎉 Watch the premiere July 10 on ABC and Stream on Hulu!” That’s what the Instagram announcement was captioned. Steve even commented below the post with 3 celebratory emojis: “🎉🎉🎉.”

Those two shows will share Sunday nights with brand-new program The Final Straw, which will have its series premiere on July 10. So, the summer 2022 lineup on Sundays will look like:
8:00-9:00 p.m. “Celebrity Family Feud”
9:00-10:00 p.m. “The Final Straw” (series premiere)
10:00-11:00 p.m. “The $100,000 Pyramid”
Who is competing on Celebrity Family Feud?
We have discovered via Instagram that there are actually quite a few teams that have already filmed their episodes of Celebrity Family Feud. There are even a few match-ups that were revealed too!
One matchup that we know of? Team “Good Vibes Tribe” led by actress Meagan Good vs. Team “Funches” led by actor Ron Funches. Meagan’s team includes her mom Tyra, younger sister Lex, as well as older sister La’Myia Good and her husband Eric Bellinger. Ron’s team includes wife Christina Dawn and his mom Karen.
Their social media posts match up too. Meagan posted a look at her team on March 6, while Ron posted to his Instagram on March 7. You can see both posts below.
Disney vs Netflix
Another match-up to get excited about? The cast of Netflix’s Never Have I Ever will take on the cast of Disney Plus’ High School Musical: The Musical The Series. Never Have I Ever‘s Megan Suri posted a BTS from Celebrity Family Feud which featured the HSMTMTS team as well. She wrote: “Top 5 sickest things I’ve been a part of. Thank you @familyfeud @netflix @neverhaveiever.”
Megan is a part of a team with her cast mates, including Ben Norris, Lee Rodriguez, Darren Barnet, and Ramona Young. On the HSM team, there’s Sofia Wylie, Matt Cornett, Dara Reneé, Frankie A. Rodriguez, and Joshua Bassett. Sofia posted a team selfie on Instagram with the caption: “We were feuding.” You can see it on the second slide below.
Last but not least, some cast members from the Saved by the Bell reboot will take on the cast of Bel-Air. Bel-Air‘s Jordan L. Jones posted the news on his Instagram, writing: “Had a great time going against the Saved By The Bell cast on @familyfeudabc! Stay tuned for this y’all, it’s a good one!”
Jordan’s joined by cast mates Olly Sholotan, Adrian Holmes, Cassandra Freeman, and Coco Jones. Mario Lopez is leading the Saved by the Bell team, alongside cast mates Josie Totah, Haskiri Velazquez, Alycia Pascual-Peña, and Dexter Darden. Lopez posted “Having a blast on Family Feud with the Saved By The Bell fam! #FamilyFeud #SBTB #BellVsBell,” which you can see below.
Hacks vs The Proud Family
Those teams aren’t the only ones that will likely be seen on the upcoming summer season. Other celebrity teams include: Team “Hacks” with actress Poppy Liu; Team “The Proud Family” with Keke Palmer, Kyla Pratt, Soleil Moonfrye, Paula Jai Parker, and Alisa Reyes; Team “So So Def” with Jermaine Dupri and Team “Simu” with Steven Lim.
Team “Mysterio” with WWE’s Rey Mysterio aka: Óscar Gutiérrez, the Atlanta Falcons’ Grady Jarrett, Jo Koy of Team “BOYZ”, The Bachelor‘s Mariela Pepin, and actress Beth Dover of Team “Lo Truglio” have also filmed appearances on Celebrity Family Feud. All of the aforementioned appearances are TBA.
