Wizards of Waverly Place star Jennifer Stone has revealed that she is one of the many nurses helping to stop COVID-19.
Stone is best known for playing Harper Finkle on Wizards of Waverly Place, the best friend of main character Alex played by Selena Gomez and iconic fashionista.
After taking a break from acting in 2013, Stone was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes. This made her decide to switch from studying psychology to nursing.
The actress posted recently that she finished nursing school in December and is officially a registered nurse.
On World Health Day, Stone posted on Instagram that she became an official RN resident and asks her followers to support nurses as they try to stop the virus.
In response to Stone’s post, her account has reached over 306,000 followers. She posted a photo of herself in a mask to welcome her new followers and remind everyone to help flatten the curve.
