Even though this has been an unusual Christmas season for many all over the world, there are some traditions that must go on. NBC will still be holding their “Christmas in Rockefeller” Special this year. How can you watch and who will be performing? Get the information below!
When is the 2020 Christmas in Rockefeller On?
NBC will be airing its special Wednesday, December 2nd from 8pm – 10pm EST. Unfortunately due to the pandemic restrictions, there won’t be any public viewing this year. Stay warm inside and watch on your television or by streaming it online. The TODAY anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, Craig Melvin and Al Roker will host the festivities.

When Can You See the Rockefeller Christmas Tree?
After the special takes place, the plaza will be open for their regular hours for the public to view the fully lit tree. It will be open from 6am ET to midnight every day. On Christmas, it will be lit for 24 hours. Just remember to bring your mask!
Ever wonder what happens to the big beautiful Christmas tree once the season is over? NBC officials said, “After the tree leaves Rockefeller Center, it will be milled into lumber for donation to Habitat for Humanity and used to build homes in the region.”
