ABC’s brand new modern day fairy tale, ‘The Baker and the Beauty‘ just wrapped its first season at the end of May.
Now on everyone’s minds is the fate of a season 2. Will the show be renewed or cancelled?
The Baker and the Beauty starring Nathalie Kelley and Victor Rasuk was a surefire hit for ABC. The show follows Noa Hamilton and Daniel Garcia in a romantic – comedy style series about a Cuban-American baker and a superstar who go through the makeups and breakups of falling in love.
How were the ratings?

According to The Nielsen Company, the season finale grew 9% over the prior week’s episode totaling 3.6 million viewers. Breaking it down even more, Adults 18-49 grew by 17%.
The Baker and the Beauty showrunner Dean Georgaris told TVLine, “We have Season 2 all mapped out, and we know the network is excited about it, which is good.”
Fans of the show will be waiting at the edge of their seat because executives are estimated to make their final decision on season 2 in the next month or so.
Georgaris added, “They believe in the show, and they understand what we’re trying to do, and my hope is that there’ll still be room for us. I’m optimistic, but you do never know.”
