Hallmark Channel is finishing up their New Year, New Movies event with the premiere of Snowkissed starring Jen Lilley & Chris McNally. The winter themed film is not only set against a gorgeous backdrop, but has all the good-natured fun and romance fans expect from a Hallmark movie. Keep reading below for details on Snowkissed, including who’s who in the cast, what it’s about, plus see a trailer and some photos.

Snowkissed Plot + Cast

Snowkissed centers around Kate (Jen Lilley), a New Yorker through and through, who’s barely been outside Brooklyn her whole life. When she receives a new assignment that requires her to travel to Canada, Kate ventures to Lake Louise to not only do her job, but face her fears. When she arrives at the bed and breakfast, she meets – and clashes with – the owner, Noah (Chris McNally). As fate would have it, Kate’s assignment gets delayed, which gives Noah the perfect opportunity to get her help on a tour guide he’s put together for investors. While working together, they grow closer personally too, which begs the question: can Kate leave New York for love with Noah?

Fans of Hallmark will know Jen Lilley, as she recently starred in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Channel’s 2020 holiday film, USS Christmas. Snowkissed will be her eleventh Hallmark movie, as well as her fifth holiday-based one. You may also know Jen for her roles on Days of Our Lives, General Hospital, or Youthful Daze.

Chris McNally is no stranger to the Hallmark circuit either. He’s starred in a total of five films for the network, including 2019’s A Winter Princess. He’s also held the role of Lucas Bouchard in their series When Calls the Heart since 2019. Other credits include guest spots on shows like Supernatural, Falling Skies, and the role of Cal Dennison in Lifetime’s V.C. Andrews’ Heaven.

Any other details?

Ahead of the premiere, both Jen Lilley & Chris McNally posted individualized trailers to their Instagrams for Snowkissed. One shows things from Kate’s perspective, the other from Noah’s. You can check them both out below!

If you want a behind the scenes look at what it was like to film in Alberta (most if not all Hallmark movies are shot in Canada!), Hallmark Channel posted an “on location” video to their YouTube channel. Apparently it was Jen’s first time in Banff, the town of Alberta they filmed in. See it all for yourself below:

Last but not least, we’ve got a few photos from Snowkissed to share with you below. Our gallery features Jen and Chris in character, plus a couple of their co-stars Amy Groening (Jayne) and Rodrigo Beilfuss (Simon).

Be sure to tune in to the premiere of Snowkissed on Sat. Jan. 30 at 9/8 c, only on Hallmark Channel.
