Shawn Mendes is booked and busy this summer. The Canadian singer is preparing for his upcoming tour, Wonder: The World Tour, which kicks off in Portland, Oregon on June 27. We have details for you below, including a few of his preparations that he’s shared on social media with fans.
What can fans expect from the new Shawn Mendes tour?
Shawn Mendes has always been transparent in sharing his life and work updates with his fans on social media. Instagram is the main platform where his followers can find information on his day-to-day activities, or in this case, his tour prep. Shawn recently shared a couple of Instagram stories, one where he was playing basketball, perhaps taking a break from work, and the other was an elevator selfie, presumably from a rehearsal. Check out both of the photos below:

This tour is in support of Shawn’s 2020 album Wonder, and will begin in the USA from June-October 2022, then move to Europe from May-August 2023. From big cities like Boston and St. Louis, to multiple places like Jacksonville, Miami, Tampa, and Orlando, Florida, Shawn’s pulling out all the stops to make this tour great.
View this post on InstagramWonder: The World Tour marks Mendes’ first return to touring since 2019, when he embarked on Shawn Mendes: The Tour, in support of his self-titled third album. The pandemic really threw a curveball into many artists’ touring schedules, but now Shawn is excited to get back out there and perform. While the set list will more than likely be comprised of his two singles “Wonder” and “Monster,” along with other songs from the fourth studio album, that’s not to say Shawn won’t include a few of his earlier hits. Other popular songs he’s known for are: “Stitches,” “Treat You Better,” and “In My Blood.”
Oftentimes, Shawn will bring out guitar and bass, and of course his stage band always brings the fun to stadium shows for the crowds. For this tour, his openers are: Dermot Kennedy and Tate McRae. This 2022 tour is so popular that he even added more tour dates in April. “New #WonderTheWorldTour shows added in North America & more tickets added to all NA dates 🤍 Presales for new shows start Weds 4/6, & newly added tickets go onsale friday 4/8. All ticket & presale info at wonderthetour.com,” Mendes captioned the post.
