It looks like Pete Davidson is staying busy during his off season from Saturday Night Live! According to SILive.com, The comedian was spotted filming his new movie with director Judd Apatow last Friday in Mariners Harbor. The title of the film has not been released, but plot will revolve around the SNL cast member’s life.
Davidson and Apatow are the writers for the upcoming movie. Sources also shared with SILive.com that Davidson was filming a scene of the movie where he FaceTimes his girlfriend. The movie will be released in theaters in June 2020.
According to Deadline, The film will also be starring Pamela, Aldon, Marisa Tomei, Bill Burr, Jimmy Tatro, and Colson Baker, (also known as Machine Gun Kelly).
Baker and Davidson have previously been co-stars in their coming of age comedy Big Time Adolescence and Mötley Crüe bio film The Dirt. Davidson is very close with the rapper. Davidson was featured in Barker music video for “LOCO” and has performed with him on stage.
Last year, Baker shared to Billboard that he met first met Davidson while filming the MTV show Wild ‘n Out. The two eventually reunited and became close friends while filming The Dirt in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Aside from filming his new movie, Davidson recently took up modeling! On March 31st, he made his debut on the runway during Alexander Wang’s fashion show.
The fashion designer told E! News that he’s been wanting Davidson to model his clothing and texted him to see if he would be interested in walking in his latest show. Obviously Davidson isn’t afraid of branching out and trying new career moves!
