It’s true. Mariah Carey will perform on Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve Special with Ryan Seacrest again this year after ending 2016’s with some controversy.
Last year’s performance did not go exactly as planned. The backing track failed to play correctly which led Mariah to stop singing and call for help about the technical difficulties before walking off. Unfortunately the video went viral and the mistake continued to replay.
The ‘Obsessed’ singer, 47 is set to redeem herself. She took to Instagram to announce she will be taking the stage again to ring in 2018. She said, “Take 2. #RockinEve #NYE?”

See you in Times Square!”
Mariah will be fresh off of her Christmas tour. She visited cities such as New York, Seattle, Paris, London, Las Vegas, and Manchester.
Her adventures have been documented on Instagram via her profile and boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka’s. While out in New York, the happy couple picked up a Christmas tree with Mariah’s adorable twins.
