The holidays are almost here, and no one is more known for Christmas than Mariah Carey. After all, her hit song “All I Want For Christmas Is You” just took the number 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 chart! But that’s not the only reason why she’s celebrating. WHY WAS MARIAH IN NYC?
Mariah Carey was in New York to celebrate her holiday song, “All I Want For Christmas Is You” hitting #1 on Billboard, as well as to perform a medley of her Christmas hits on The Late Late Show with James Corden. Her hit song nabbed the top spot for the first time since its release 25 years ago, making it Mariah’s 19th #1 song in her career. A huge congrats to Mariah for hitting that milestone!
She also performed to a sold-out crowd at Madison Square Garden, flipped the lights on at the Empire State Building, hosted a tour wrap party at TAO Downtown, took over the Late Late Show, as well as met some fans at Shop Nation NYC.
