All eyes were on Mariah Carey as she took the stage last night for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest 2018 in frigid temperatures in the middle of Times Square.
Last year’s performance didn’t go quite as planned, leaving Mariah struggling through the performance without any music in her ears. However, the powerhouse was back at it!
She stepped on that stage in Mariah fashion in a long gold glittering gown along with a warm white fur jacket saying “Happy New Year” to the freezing crowd of an estimated nearly 1 million people.

Mariah sung two of her hits, the first being “Vision of Love” followed by her 1993 hit, “Hero.”
After singing her first song, Mariah spoke out saying, “Just want to take a sip of tea if they’ll let me. They told me there would be tea. Well we’ll just have to rough it.”
The next song, “Hero” began and she completely hit it out of the park!

Host, Ryan Seacrest asked how she was feeling after her performance last night, Mariah said, “I’m feeling a lot better than last year, when I had to get my own police escort to walk away.”
Mariah joined the rest of the Rockin’ Eve crew to countdown to the New Year! She posted a video on Instagram, commenting that it was her twin’s very first Times Square New Years Celebration.

Mariah’s boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka was seen on camera with Mariah’s twins as they were counting down to 2018.
Prior to the performance, Bryan posted a photo of he and “the queen” as he calls her, saying “Rehearsal went amazing!!! All the love and all the light for Mariah ya’ll!!! ????????????????? #MuchLove”
