Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve is set to air tonight, December 31st, 2017 in Times Square in Manhattan.
Temperatures are expected to be plummeting down to around 10 degrees in New York tonight (without windchill)!
Mariah Carey will be taking another attempt at a performance on the NYE stage after last year’s mishap. She is slated to sing two songs, one of which will be her hit, “Hero.”
Dick Clark Production workers tell TMZ they have been trying to figure out how to get Mariah from the stage to where the ball drops to ring in 2018 with host, Ryan Seacrest. The ball is a far distance from where Mariah will be and want to get her there the quickest way possible.
For all the viewers of Mariah’s reality series on E!, ‘Mariah’s World’ we often witnessed her being rolled down the hallway to the stage. It’s no different for the New Years Eve Special. They will supposedly be using the same method and rolling Mariah in a chair from the stage to the ball.

No word yet if boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka will be taking the stage with her tonight. However, it looks like hosts Ryan Seacrest and Jenny McCarthy are getting ready for the big ball drop tonight, airing on ABC.

Mariah, her boyfriend, Bryan Tanaka and the kids have been on a snow ski vacation in Aspen since Christmas! Bryan posted a photo from the private plane yesterday as they left Aspen and are heading to New York City!
