Lifetime’s been airing a ton of new films this holiday season as part of their “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” event. Up next is The Christmas High Note, starring Jamie Luner and Johnny Messner. Get details on the film below, including the full cast, plot, trailer, and more.
The Christmas High Note Cast + Plot
The Christmas High Note centers around a woman named Rachel (Jamie Luner), who, after being stood up by Brad (William McNamara), meets a man named Michael (Johnny Messner), and his daughter, Sophia (Madeline Grace). When Sophia struggles to hit the high note for the Christmas performance, Rachel coaches her. Along the way, she may just develop an interest in Michael, but will either of them make a move before the holiday magic is gone?
Jamie Luner is probably best known for her roles on All My Children, Savannah, or Melrose Place. Johnny Messner is an actor that’s held recurring roles on Guiding Light, The OC, and Jane the Virgin. He led the 2005-06 FOX drama Killer Instinct too. For Madeline Grace, The Christmas High Note is her film debut. William McNamara, Kassandra Clementi, and Jack Griffo also star.
Any other details?
Johnny Messner shared the trailer to his Instagram page, telling his followers that there was “so much laughter making this little gem” and he’s very grateful for that. You can see his full post – which also features the trailer for The Christmas High Note – below:
His co-star Jamie Luner echoed his sentiments, sharing her excitement on Instagram as well. She added another fun detail: she’s not only starring in the film, she’s producing it too! Tomorrow, before the premiere, Jamie will also be taking over Lifetime’s official Instagram page.
