Lana Condor‘s first Met Gala was one for the books! The actress had her fairy tale moment at this years fashion celebration. She wore a pink Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown at the camp themed event.
“When I was little, I’d get out of school on the first Monday of May, and I’d walk over and stand behind the gates watching the most beautiful women walk The Met Gala carpet… and disappear inside into, no doubt, a magical realm. Last night that magic became real. Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make this huge dream of mine come true,” Lana captioned her Met Gala Instagram post.
Condor may have not lost a glass slipper at the Met Gala, but she did lose her purse! According to Just Jared, Condor’s dress was so large that her purse got lost inside of it.
The actress was sitting next to Eva Chen, who is formerly the editor-in-chief of Lucky. Chen shared that Condor tried finding her missing purse by calling Chen’s phone, which was in the purse.
Although Condor’s idea did not work since she couldn’t feel the vibration of Chen’s phone, Charles Melton came to the rescue! The actor used his flashlight on his phone and found Condor’s purse under their table. It sounds like this actress will always remember her first Met Gala!
