Stars are stepping out on Friday, September 7th for a very special reason.
ABC is hosting the sixth biennial telecast of ‘Stand Up to Cancer’ on Friday.

‘Stand Up to Cancer‘ will also feature three musical performances including; Grammy Award winner Stevie Wonder, CMA Country Vocal Group Little Big Town and 11-time Grammy Nominee Charlie Wilson.
The telecast will mark SU2C’s 10 years of support for cancer research.
The fundraising event will be held at The Barker Hangar in Santa Monica, California. It will feature a sprawling main stage with Stand Up to Cancer’s animated graphics.
Maria Menounos who will be in attendance at Su2C recently posted a photo of herself with mother, Litsa, who was diagnosed with cancer two years ago.
Maria herself was diagnosed with Meningioma brain tumor. The former E! News host underwent a seven-hour surgery to remove the mass on her 39th birthday.
