Pop sensation, Jennifer Lopez, 48, put out a very powerful message of hope and motivation on her Instagram today.
The very successful entertainer got real with her fans describing what it was like before fame, when she was just starting out and trying to make it. The caption on her video reads, “Never. Give. Up! #dreamsdocometrue#workhard #beconsistent#messageoftheday”
If you have a strong desire in yourself, don’t listen to the nay-sayers telling you to quit. Keep going and be determined.
JLo says, “If I tell you all the people that told me I wasn’t going to act, sing, or dance, or I wasn’t good at it, or I should stop, I’d be locked in a house somewhere doing nothing.”
She goes on to say, “The truth is nobody knows what’s inside of you. Only you know what you can accomplish and what you’re capable of.” You have to trust your instincts and trust in yourself.
“It’s all about mindset,” says the On the Floor singer and mother of two.
“All of it is about being consistent and doing the right things. Honestly, we all have the capacity.”
