Holly & Ivy follows Nina (Marisol Nichols), a woman who finds out her illness has returned, and she won’t be able to care for her adoptive kids. Her neighbor, Melody (Janel Parrish) offers to take the kids – Holly (Sadie Coleman) and Ivy (Piper Rubio) – to stay at her home, as she was a foster kid herself.

There’s a small snag in the warm gesture when Melody realizes she has to get her home up to code, including a nice bedroom for the girls in her new fixer-upper. When her job falls through, she worries that she won’t be able to get all the renovations done in time. But, with the help of her neighbors and friends, including handsome contractor Adam (Jeremy Jordan), she may just be able to pull this off in time for the holidays.

Fans will definitely recognize Janel Parrish as Melody; the actress is known for her roles as Mona Vanderwaal on Pretty Little Liars and Margot Covey in the Netflix movie series To All the Boys. Marisol Nichols’ most notable roles include Hermione Lodge on Riverdale and Nadia Yassir on 24.

Jeremy Jordan has been seen in numerous theater productions, including Newsies and Bonnie & Clyde; he’s been featured in Supergirl and had a lead role opposite Keke Palmer in Joyful Noise.
