Hugh Jackman has a lot to celebrate! The star was nominated for a Golden Globe for his portrayal of P.T. Barnum in the movie “The Greatest Showman”… before it even hit theaters.

Hugh, who has been married to wife Deborra since 1996 gushed to Extra’s AJ Calloway about the celebration his wife had waiting for him when he came home.  He said, “I got home and there were banners and posters… She knows how to celebrate.  She’s the most amazing.”

Jackman was very proud of the new musical movie.  He said, “I’m so happy, relieved, I’m proud… musicals are so hard to pull off, they’re so hard to get made.

Hard work and dedication truly does pay off.  Take it from Hugh.  He took to Instagram to share the journey the cast of ‘The Greatest Showman’ have been on.

He captioned it, “Over 7 years ago we began the journey to make @greatestshowman a major motion picture. Through all of the (literal) blood, sweat and tears … giving up was never an option. As it is said, with great risk comes great reward. Thank you #hfpa for all 3 nominations. What an awesome morning for the entire Showman family. See you on 1.7.18.
