Kat has been singing for a few years, and she can also play the guitar. She’s been posting covers on her Instagram since 2016, but got a major break in 2017 when she performed alongside J Balvin. 2019 was another great year for Kat as she performed with Luis Fonsi.

Alejandro has been playing guitar and singing for a while too; course he also has a fascination with motorcycles. The “Space Cowboy” actually teamed up with Kat 9 months ago, and after that first meeting, both their music career as a duo, as well as their relationship as a couple, took off.

Kat posted this super-sweet Instagram shoutout to her boyfriend, which you can see below. She felt like she was talking to her best friend, and ever since, they’ve been inseparable.

How about their music careers now?

They officially launched their duo’s Instagram in December of 2019, and they’re known as Kat & Alex – full duo name: Kat Luna and Alex Georgia.

They’re a country duo mainly, but they seem to take influences from other contemporary artists, such as Lauren Daigle. Their cover of “Sorry to You” by Kane Brown ft. John Legend has over 6,000 views and counting. You can check that out below to see just how well their voices harmonize.

Judging by that video, it’s no wonder they made it onto the American Idol stage to audition! You can see Alex and Kat in action when American Idol airs Sunday at 8 PM on ABC.
