The 2020 Tony music awards would have aired this Sunday, May 17 at 8:30 PM but was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Grease will be the latest film CBS has aired in its Sunday night series. They will also air Titanic on May 24 and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade on May 31.
CBS has decided to run a singalong version of the hit 1978 film Grease in its place.
Grease became an instant classic and helped make Olivia Newton-John and John Travolta household names overnight.
