Talk Show and Comedy Queen, Ellen DeGeneres is coming to primetime! If you watch her NBC talk show, you know she loves to incorporate games into her hour long show. Well, she has produced and is going to host “Ellen’s Game of Games.”
It is described as an “hour of supersized versions of the most popular and hilariously fun games from “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.” There is a twist with this game show. Contestants will be pulled directly out of the audience. They will be put through massive obstacles and answer questions under tremendous pressure. The game show will always end in the same way, with someone having the chance to win a huge cash prize.
“I’m so excited to be hosting a huge primetime game show for NBC,” said DeGeneres. “We’re pulling out all the stops — gigantic sets, hilarious games. It’s going to be like a combination of ‘American Ninja Warrior,’ ‘RuPaul’s Drag Race’ and a water park. OK, it’s nothing like that, but you should still watch.”
“Ellen’s Game of Games” is executive produced by Ellen DeGeneres, Mary Connelly, Ed Glavin, Andy Lassner, Kevin Leman and Jeff Kleeman. David A. Hurwitz also serves as executive producer. The series is produced by A Very Good Production, Telepictures and Warner Horizon Unscripted Television.
Game of Games will air for the first time on March 2, 2018 on NBC.
