Dove Cameron had to leave the set of the “Descendants 3” to take a trip out to the Emmy Awards!
It was well worth it! The 22 – year old actress took home her very first Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Performer in a Children’s, Preschool Children’s or Educational and Informational Program for her part on Disney Channel’s Liv & Maddie: Cali Style.
She looked gorgeous courtesy to her glam squad, celebrity makeup artist, Hung Vanngo and hair stylist, Christian Wood.

When she arrived back to her film family on the “Descendants 3” set, she was met with applause and a special presentation from director Kenny Ortega.
It was captured on video. Kenny announces to the crowd referring to the Emmy, “she came back with this” as he takes the Emmy and hands it to Dove.
Dove is noticeably overwhelmed as she hugs Ortega and said, “I didn’t know you were going to do this so I don’t know what to say!”

Dove commented on how she was feeling after receiving her very first Emmy at the age of 22…”still reeling. like every particle and cell in my body turned into liquid love.”
