Demi Lovato made a special appearance on ABC’s Good Morning America. She sat down with host, Robin Roberts to discuss her hot musical career and what’s coming up next!
Demi was surrounded by a group of specially chosen excited fans who got to see their inspiration live right in front of them.
When asked what the song Sorry Not Sorry is about, she said often people think it’s about relationships but it’s not. She started writing it a while ago in the studio and her inspiration? Bullies from school. Demi said, “my life is so great today and I’m unapologetic for it.”
She goes on, “I make it my life goal to inspire other people. I think it’s important to use my voice for more than singing.”
Demi is definitely an advocate for mental wellness and has not shied away from the topic. She says, “I have bipolar disorder and I’m very open about that. We need to take the stigma away from that.”
This is where her big announcement is revealed!
The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer is going on tour this winter and will be taking along the Cast Centers with her.
Cast Centers is a treatment and wellness program where Demi was once a patient, and now co-owns with her business partner Mike Bayer. Mike Bayer came out to sit besides Demi and cheer her on. “It makes me so happy to see Demi being part of Cast and mentoring other women when she doesn’t have to. It’s been a really great experience to have someone who doesn’t just lend their name but who is really involved, so I’m proud of her.”
“When I did the Future Now Tour, we brought them on tour. It’s basically a therapy session before the concerts and we have speakers from all over. It will be a very inspiring experience,” said Demi.
How do you sign up for this?
Mike said it is free if you have a concert ticket and urges fans to go to castontour.com soon because he anticipates it selling quickly.
Mike said, “We just want to encourage people to better themselves.”

While Demi was on the GMA set, she ran into a very special guest, or mouse we should say.
That’s right, Minnie Mouse was there to talk about her brand new star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame! What better picture to get than a former Disney starlet showing the famous Disney character some love?
