Get ready to celebrate and sing along to your favorite Christmas carols tonight. NBC is kicking off the holidays with their iconic “Christmas in Rockefeller Center” today, Wednesday, November 29th from 7-8pm EST. This will celebrate the 85th annual holiday special. They will be lighting a 5 foot tall and 50 foot wide Norway Spruce from State College, Pennsylvania.
The tree will be beautifully designed in colored LED lights and topped off with a Swarovski star made up of 25,000 crystals!
The event will include performances from a number of special artists. Pentatonix, Jennifer Nettles, Gwen Stefani, Brett Eldredge, Seal, Train, and more will take the stage tonight in the middle of Manhattan.
NBC News anchors Savannah Guthrie, Hoda Kotb, and Al Roker are set to host “Christmas in Rockefeller Center.”
