Camila Cabello is fresh off the release of her first self-titled solo album, ‘Camila.’
The 20-year old singer was so excited to be on the “infamous couch” for her very first appearance on NBC’s “The Ellen Show” hosted by Ellen DeGeneres. Camila grew up in hot Miami, Florida so the below zero temperatures in Times Square for the Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve performance had her shook.
Ellen asked her, “Have you ever sung in that kind of weather before?” She enthusiastically responded, “I have never! It was a -100 degree windchill and that’s crazy!” Ellen looked shocked saying, “I don’t think that’s exactly right, in those temperatures you would have died. I believe it was -30 degree windchill.”

Camila said, “oh but that’s not as dramatic. Doesn’t sound as good” laughing.
Ellen went on to ask, “What does that do to your vocal chords when you’re singing with freezing cold?” She expressed just how cold it felt out there, saying, “During sound check, I couldn’t feel my chin. I had hand warmers and was wearing three layers of clothing.”
It was anything but cold in ‘The Ellen Show’ stage as Camila emerged in a sultry diagonal cut white gown with fur singing “Havana.” Ellen said she has been waiting months for Camila to come to her show and sing this song! Camila didn’t disappoint.
She took it back to the 1950’s in a Cabaret Club in her performance.
