Hallmark Channel makes announcements about ‘Chesapeake Shores’ Season 4, ‘When Calls the Heart’ Spin-Off & More!

Is ‘Chesapeake Shores’ Coming Back for Season 4?

Yes! Hallmark Channel’s original series, “Chesapeake Shores” starring Jesse Metcalfe and Barbara Niven will be back for season 4!

Is ‘Chesapeake Shores’ Getting a Movie?

Yes, it’s TRUE! Hallmark Channel announced it has greenlit a spinoff movie based on characters from its original series “Chesapeake Shores.

We are excited to dive deeper into their roles and shed more light on each of their journeys as these women balance romance, friendship, and family,” said Michele Vicary.

Abby (Ory), Bree (Ullerup) and Jess (Mailey), adventure to Rome for the wedding of a childhood friend.

While in Rome, they discover the wedding plans are in complete chaos and the bride may have gotten cold feet because she has gone missing. The O’Brien sisters scour the sites of Rome to find the bride and work to create a happily ever after, while ultimately realizing the romance they each deserve back home in Chesapeake Shores.

Is Blake Shelton Working with Hallmark Channel Again?

He is! Last year, Blake Shelton worked on a new Christmas movie for the Hallmark Channel as part of the “Miracles of Christmas.” His movie, “Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas” was such a big hit that he was asked to executive produce another one for the 2019 Christmas season.

Hallmark Channel’s beloved and longest running series, “When Calls the Heart” starring Lori Loughlin and Erin Krakow is getting its own spin off show, according to the Hallmark Channel.

When Hope Calls,” will be Crown Media Family Networks’ first-ever streaming series, premiering in August 2019 on Hallmark Movies Now.

The new spin-off, “When Hope Calls” follows Lillian (Morgan Kohan) and Grace (Jocelyn Hudon), sisters who were orphaned and raised very differently. Now the girls are adults, reuniting to open an orphanage in the early 1900s.

All New Summer Movies to Come!

We all know how mega popular Hallmark Channel’s “Countdown to Christmas” is…so why not make one for the hot summer too?

That’s just what they are going to do! They made the official announcement that they will add a “Countdown to Summer” as part of their programming lineup.

As temperatures around the country begin to rise and people yearn for the longer days ahead, the network will offer a fresh slate of movies designed to transport viewers to the upcoming carefree days of summer. Expect 3 new original movies starting in May 2019.

Huge Celebration of the 2019 Countdown to Christmas

Hallmark Channel will be celebrating the 10th anniversary of their popular “Countdown to Christmas” movie event.

More than 115 million viewers in the past two years have seen ‘Countdown to Christmas’ programming and many have made the event a tradition in their homes,” said Michelle Vicary.

To honor the 10th year, they have big plans already in the works. The channel will bring even more “high-quality, holiday content and bring world renowned talent because while there are many imitators, there is still only one, the original and the best, ‘Countdown to Christmas,” said Vicary.

Currently, the network is in production on its first original holiday movie, “The Christmas Song,” starring Kristin Chenoweth, Scott Wolf and directed by Eric Close.
