Miller has experienced girl-on-girl hate on her Instagram like so many of us. She saw the shaming comments as totally destructive behavior. “When women tear women down, and men see that, it makes them think that it’s okay for them to do the same thing,” Miller expressed.

The singer felt frustrated with the lack of representation when it came to young women expressing that they could be independent without a man. Miller noted that there were some artists that will sending out that message, but she felt more power representation was needed for her younger self.

Miller has songs such as “Yes Girl” or “Brand New Eyes,” that encompass female empowerment. Today, Miller is currently playing music for her fans on her ‘Nice To Meet U’ tour. However, this is a hot ticket item because many of the dates for the shows are sold out!

Have you noticed that the 20 year old singer now has pink hair? Well, the reasoning behind her new look is to match the theme of her latest album, which is sunsets and outer space. Pretty cool, huh?
