Candace Cameron Bure is back on Hallmark with a new movie. The Full/Fuller House star is also known for her role as Aurora Teagarden in the eponymous film series, and her newest one promises to be full of twists and turns that Hallmark Movies & Mysteries fans love. Candace Cameron Bure’s real-life daughter Natasha Bure will be portraying teenage Aurora Teagarden in Aurora Teagarden Mysteries Haunted by Murder. If you’re a fan of the films, then you know Candace has portrayed Aurora in the murder-mystery franchise since 2015.
In the newest installment, when Aurora (Candace Cameron Bure) and Sally (Lexa Doig) were teenagers, they were dared to go inside the infamous ‘haunted’ Crenshaw Mansion. They discovered a dead body in a secret room; 20 years later, Aurora’s mother Aida (Marilu Henner) bought the mansion to renovate and sell. Aida dismisses the notion that the house is haunted, but the more time they spend there, the more Aurora is convinced the body from 20 years ago wasn’t the result of an accident. Someone’s keen on protecting their secrets, and doesn’t want Aurora, Nick (Niall Matter), or the Real Murders Club digging up the past.
Candace Cameron Bure, Niall Matter, Lexa Doig, and Marilu Henner all reprise their roles in Aurora Teagarden Mysteries Haunted by Murder. As we mentioned earlier, Candace’s real-life daughter Natasha Bure will play teenage Aurora; joining her to portray teenage Sally is Mia Shanks. Now, get this: Mia is Lexa’s real-life daughter! Candace Cameron Bure posted a behind the scenes video featuring both Natasha and Mia, who discuss portraying the teenage versions of their mom’s characters. Candace wrote on Instagram: “Who doesn’t love a good flashback in a movie? 😏 new Aurora Teagarden: Haunted By Murder premieres Sunday at 9/8c on @hallmarkmovie 🙌🏼…did @lexadoig and I mention that our daughters are in this one? 😉 #proudmama #aurorateagardenmysteries”
Candace also posted a couple behind the scenes photos featuring she and Natasha, reminding fans to check out the film on Sunday, and that there’s an Aurora Teagarden movie marathon going on this whole week.
