Candace Cameron Bure’s first Christmas movie since joining Great American Media has been revealed. The network will premiere ‘A Christmas…Present’ starring Bure.
She will star and executive produce the film slated for the 2022 Great American Christmas lineup.
Candace Cameron Bure, 46, will portray Maggie Larson, a real estate agent and type-A mom. She takes her kids to spend Christmas with her widowed brother and her niece. Maggie’s brother’s idea of how to spend Christmas may rub off on a hustling career woman and mom. Bure said this of her new movie, “The hustle and bustle of the Christmas season will arrive before we know it but it’s through the quiet moments that we hear God speak to us, directing our path to what’s most important.“
“I am thrilled to be kicking off our partnership with a must-see film like A Christmas…Present,” said Bill Abbott, President & CEO of Great American Media.
She earned her title of Queen of Christmas after starring in a whopping 29-movie collection for the Hallmark Channel. Last season, she starred alongside her Fuller House co-star John Brotherton in ‘A Christmas Contest.‘ However, she departed from the network to join GAC, full time. Crown Media (housing Hallmark Channel) commented on Candace’s departure. “We respect her decision and thank her for her many contributions.”
GAC has welcomed many big names to their lineup including Cameron Mathison, Jessica Lowndes, Gladys Knight, Paul Greene and many more. Mathison will star alongside Jill Wagner in The Christmas Farm, also part of The Great American Christmas Lineup.
A Christmas… Present will premiere in November 2022. The Great American Christmas lineup kicks off on October 21, 2022 with original holiday movies every Saturday and Sunday.
