Melissa Joan Hart gets her first mom role in new Netflix series!
No Good Nick focuses on married couple Liz and Ed Thompson, who unknowingly welcome a young con-artist Nicole (also known as Nick) into their lives. Nick’s vengeful intentions on the couple change as she develops a family-like relationship with them.
Hart will be playing Liz Thompson. Sean Astin will star as Ed Thompson.
According to People.com, Hart shared how her character, Liz Thompson goes against her “normal instincts for parenting“. In one scene Hart’s character gave advice by saying, ‘If you want to be a winner, you have to be ruthless.’ The former teen witch considers herself a more nurturing parent than the one she portrays on the show.
Off screen, Hart is a busy mom of three boys and makes an effort to spend time with her family. Her sons even attended the live-audience tapings of No Good Nick.
