After performing their new material on the streets of Santa Monica, their fan base began to truly build. Though the excitement of their original sound was the beginning of something special for Danny and Eric, they decided to add a female vocalist to counter-balance the duo. In the summer of 2008, the soulful Texas beauty, Tarah New, became the third member of Shytown. The trio combines rap with melodic, harmonious hooks backed by an acoustic guitar. Some have described it as "The Beach Boys meets Eminem meets Jack Johnson." Shytown is currently recording their debut album and plan a summer of 2009 release.
