Meet
Katelyn Morgan. In
case you missed the
show, she was chosen as the winner of the reality television show,
“America’s
Prom Queen.” Katelyn,
a native southern
Californian, won a number of exciting prizes including being a
correspondent
for CosmoGirl magazine for the Ultimate Prom event.
Well we turned the tables on this
correspondent and it was her
turn to give the answers. She’s
such a
sweet and well spoken girl who’s beauty is greater than skin
deep. We caught up
with her at the Ultimate Prom
event and found out about the “America’s Prom
Queen,” how she found out about
the show, how long the taping was, what she thinks of the ultimate
prom, plus more.

FTV: Hi
Katelyn. You're the
winner of America's
Prom Queen. How
long did that show run
for?
Katelyn:
The show aired for six weeks. It was so much fun. I always had friends
over for
every taping. It
was just a blast!
FTV: How
did you find out about the show?
Katelyn: My teacher actually got an
email out of the
blue. I went into a
few interviews,
just one to another and finally got picked to be on the show.
FTV: How
long was the taping for?
Katelyn:
We taped for two weeks in a mansion in California with ten other girls. It was very nice. They're all so much fun!
FTV: Who
would you say is your favorite singer?
Katelyn:
In general, right now my favorite singer is Matt Costa. He's not
completely
well known but he has a sound like Jack Johnson.
He's really good.
I went
to a concert of his in April. It
was so
cool!
He sings
acoustic, it's really laid back with the guitar.
FTV: Is
he touring around?
Katelyn:
I'm pretty sure he is.
FTV: How
would you sum up the entire event?
Katelyn:
Today, has just been a dream come true being a correspondent for
CosmoGirl!
It's definitely the "Ultimate Prom."
It's awesome!
There are so many
celebrities here. I'm
in New York and
I'll be flying back to California tomorrow.
FTV: Is
this your first time here?
Katelyn:
This is actually my second time in New
York. I came here
in 8th grade for a
big class field trip.
FTV: We're
so glad to have you here and congratulations again.
Katelyn:
